Dia De Los Muertos.
In my heritage a day we celebrate iDia de Los Muertos. It takes place on October 31st and is held in honor of family or friends that have passed. Ways we celebrate is by having parades with dancers, music, masks with certain drawings that could represent certain things, and with prayers. In my family what we do is we all get together at my grandmas, put pictures of all the people that have passed and pray. We watch videos of those who have passed trying to remember them in the best way with no tears to shed. Of course some tears come out of us, but a day to remember those who have passed is worth it. Joy comes a long, memories are remembered, and family's are brought together.
Second Thoughts.
Without intention sixteen year old Cheyenne Wilder had been kidnapped, being the daughter of a president of a powerful cooperation, needing prescription antibiotics for her pneumonia, to top it off? She was blind.
Towards the middle of the book Griffin had already set Cheyenne in the room where she would stay while they figured what'd they do with not only the car but with her since she had came in it. Griffin fed Cheynne, checked up on her every once in a while, and he defended her. During the stay there, a guy that was working with Griffin and his father with the jobs, had tried to cross the line with Cheynne and touch her, that way. Griffin had came bursting into the room, and told him it wasn't right for him to do something like that to a little girl. Griffin cared about her, but the way the relationship with his dad was set up, he couldn't let them know or show that he did. Cheyenne made him realize a lot, how the house was always a mess, why Griffins mother had left and the struggle she had while being there. After realizing all those things, he realized the way that he had been acting wasn't him, he could do better. Debating with the other men he would think of not hurting Cheyenne in any way. The others thought killing her would be the solution, just the thought of leaving her there, helpess without knowing where to go made Griffin have second thoughts. I wonder, what he is to do when the times comes to make that decision.

The Inside of The Outsiders.
All in all the book was great, which is difficult for me to say due to the fact that I find it hard to read a book and actually finish it. A lot happened throughout the book which lead me to think that the theme of the story, was that no matter what your friends and family were always going to be there for you. What led me to think that this was the theme, was the help from certain characters of the story, the courage that they had for one another. Just the support throughout the book made me realize that someone, caress out you , no matter how tough, or hard they get on you. Dally with Johnny , Johnny with Ponyboy and also Darry. I can actually say in what it's like having to grow up with siblings, or friends, and that gave me an opportunity to gets better understanding of how Ponyboy would feel at times.my parents didn't exactly pass away but having to grow up with your brothers, their friends and people around the block came to feel at times I didn't even have parents at times. Anyways, all in all I think that the theme of this book was that family, friends, anyone that cares for you will always find a way to be there no matter how tough it gets.

Outsider Thought.
In the chapter where Johnny & Ponyboy had fled from home, a thought I had along the process of reading it was that out of all the people Dally was the one out of all the ' gang ' to actually somewhat find to help the two boys in some way. Dally seemed like the type guy to not care about anything or anyone, but when it came to the ' gang ' it was as if he had a soft spot. Just like any other human though, someone or something has to mean a great amount to you which can cause you to put anything aside and focus on them or it. This chapter really left me speechless at moments due to the amount of the things that were going on In a such a short period of time. This chapter was the type where I wanted to go back and make sure I got every bit of detail so I can make sure what happened really happened since I was actually surprised of what had happened. This chapter really got me into the book, making me want to go on and find out what was going on, that shows I actually began to find interest and that the author did good work being able to grab the readers attention.
