Apple Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree.

In the book "The Pregnancy Project" main character Gaby Rodriguez grew up with many saying she'd grow up to be a teen mom like many of her siblings including her mother. While reading she doesn't seem the type to actually have the state of mind of becoming a teen mom. She focuses on school, cares for not only herself but family, and tends to be an isolated person when it comes to interacting with many other people. Growing up having many responsibilities others didn't seem to take care of made her the independent girl she is now, which is indeed great thing, coming from her family. Outsiders having the thoughts and assumptions where she'd turn out to be the same due to the family "tradition" as they call in with becoming a teen mom. Seem to me that that's judge mental , and wrong since you never know if you could end up becoming a teen mom, or make some related decisions like they have. Thinking along the way of how hard it must been for Gaby growing up with the back and forth of moving from home to home, hearing the stories of how many of her sisters grew up without help from whom they'd had the baby with or even hearing arguments from mother and siblings. To me already half way thru the book it seems to me that Gaby has had it rough, I'm excited to see what happens upcoming more in the book.
